A Traditional Pub offering Traditional Pub pursuits in the Heart of Camden Town
The Constitution is one of the few remaining traditional English pubs in Camden offering traditional pub pursuits: Ales and beers, pool table, dartboard, juke box and fruit and quiz machines. Recently we celebrated our 150th birthday.
A warm welcome is always on offer here, join us in winter and enjoy our cosy bar or during the warm summer months when you can relax in our beautiful beer garden. There is a smoking area which is heated during winter and where you can take your drinks. Pub grub is available at lunchtime between 12 noon to 2.30 pm Monday to Friday. Everything is under five pounds. In summer we offer a BBQ in our award winning beer garden. Our bar staff are friendly and super efficient. We'd lay bets that the service at The Con, as it's affectionately known, is faster than anywhere in Camden. 
We have a well deserved reputation for live music in our Cellar Bar, known as one of the most intimate venues for live music in London. Acts range from Jazz, Ska and Blues to Rock and Classical. We offer something to cater for all tastes. Check our events page for the latest upcoming gigs.
The beer garden at The Con has won awards for Best Beer Garden in the Camden in Bloom and London in Bloom competitions. After lifting the cup for the winner of first prize, we decided to rest on our laurels and let other people have a chance. The south-facing garden overlooks the Regent’s Canal and is an oasis in the middle of Camden and a fantastic sun trap. Time Out London said of it: "If you can't make Ibiza this summer, go to the Constitution beer garden".
